Spring is just around the corner. Time to dig out that camping gear and hit the road for a great weekend of fun and outdoor time. Whether you idea of a “get back to nature weekend” includes tents and sleeping bags or a nice hotel room just outside your State Park, quality family time is what is really important. A backyard camp out can even be a blast for the kids!
Some of our favorite camping activities include making s’mores, a scavenger hunt, riding bikes, and anything that includes water (pools, ponds, rivers!). Our advice is to pack light. You will be amazed at what you NEVER miss! Must haves for little ones include extra clothes, diapers, water, and food. Don’t forget your ciao! baby chair. Besides being a great place for a meal, it provides a safe place for your little one to be to avoid fire or water hazards. It is portable and takes up very little space.
